I'm snowed in, [Saturday December 19th, 2009] madradhair [eemmmily] ( so here's a timeline ) and a couple of questions! (Sorry, that's not a very good depiction of the color.  In real life it looks a bit lighter & redder.) Help! [Saturday December 19th, 2009] madradhair [jappp]  Okay. I shaved a portion of my head a couple months ago. It was buzzed down to my scalp, and now it's about an inch or so long. I left the rest of my hair be (it was a grown out pixie) in hopes of letting it get long again. Well, my problem you see, is now that the shaved part is getting longer, and the rest of my hair is growing as well, and  It looks like I'm sort of getting a mullet.  I really don't want to take any length off, but in order for it to grow I know I have to get it trimmed regularly.  I guess what I'm asking is, does anyone know of any cute hair styles/cuts that won't take much off, and have it look like it has shape, and is not mom hair-esque? I guess I'd be willing to take off the some of the back. Razor it so it has texture? Angle the sides so it's a tad longer in the front? There's not much I can work with...
